The Ghost Talisman
A little haunting, made precious.
Commissioned as a gift for a much-loved daughter-in-law, this talisman began with something she already adored: ghosts, and in particular the charm of the York Ghost.
Together, we explored how that familiar form could be reimagined in precious metal and gemstones. Two pink sapphires, chosen in her favourite colour, became the ghost’s eyes, transforming the playful inspiration into something deeply personal.
The finished piece became a miniature precious maquette; part keepsake, part talisman, and entirely her own.

The Bum Buckle
A little history. A little mischief. Entirely bespoke.
This commission began with a wonderfully unusual brief: to transform a playful sculptural form into a bespoke belt buckle. Together, we explored different versions of the design, drawing inspiration from modern versions, ancient figurative sculpture and the mischievous, erotic jewellery of the Victorian era.
Through each refinement, the idea became something both sculptural and wearable. The finished buckle kept all the humour and character of the original inspiration, while turning it into a beautifully made object designed entirely around its owner.
